740 Belly pan / Skid Plate bolt size? 700 1990

Does anyone know the right size for the bolts for the belly pan aka skid plate aka splash guard etc.?

I bought some M6x1.00 bolts and they do not come close to fitting any of the holes. There are two small holes in the frame on the side, and I can tap those to fit M6x1.00, but the rear holes seem like they're at least M8 bolts. Little help?
