Newbie to Volvos and the forum, but this thread makes me happy and hopeful.

I'm planning to start this summer on getting my 142 up and running. Only 49K miles on it. But I don't know if it'll even go.
But, my intent is for this car to be the last commuter I'll ever buy. I go about 22 miles each way. Five of those are on gravel country roads; the rest on two lane with not much traffic.

Here's to anticipating lots of help from you folks.
