Exhaust system replacement 200 1991

Friends at the Brickboard:

The exhaust system on my 91 240 sedan is needing repair, and I'm looking at the Starla kits that IPD sells. My question is this -- I don't have access to a lift, so I'm wondering if I can get enough access with just the ramps that I use for oil changes? Will I need to get the vehicle up on 4 jack stands to do it properly?
Also, I notice that IPD has an exhaust hanger tool for $14.50. Is that worth the money, assuming I proceed with the plan to change out the system myself?

Thanks in advance for your replies.
