quite embarrassed ... idled engine for 3 minutes with no oil.. 900 1993

My son and his friend wanted to learn how to change oil. I was totally out of my normal 9-minute oil change routing anyways... and well long story short, we were underneath the car working on an exhaust clamp when I requested that one of the boys start it up so we could feel for leaks.

I wasn't in the cabin so I didn't see that the oil idiot light was obviously on. The car idled for about 3 minutes with no oil!!! I filled it back up and everything sounds normal, no knocking, no smoke.

What's my outlook?

I'm still shaking.
