A/C fan intermittently working S90-V90 1998

As the car gets older the wear in the compressor begins to show by the compressor struggling to keep the car cool, when the ac is only slightly low. Typical shops don't charge the system up enough (about 40lbs) to keep it from cutting out. I had this same problem, bypassed the compressor sensor, re-soldered the connections in the ac relay, nothing worked. Then I got some 134a freon from the local autoparts shop and filled it up to more like 50lbs and the problem went away, never have had it again and it's been 4 years now. A friend of mine had the same problem on his v90, and did the same thing as me and it worked on his as well.

Now I just check it every now and then like checking the oil.
