91 740T with only 137000, drivetrain excellent. 2 problems
1 Stalls in heavy rain. Won't start after driving in heavy rain. Usually will start after about an hour. I have replaced sparkplug wires and distributor but it still does it. This problem led me to let the car sit in the driveway for almost two years. I got it running a few weeks ago so my son could drive it.
2. Speedo has not worked in years, but the rest of the cluster is failing as well. I replaced the printed circuit board a few years ago but it did not fix the speedo.
Can anyone recommend a shop that does these repairs? Or does anyone have a 91 740T cluster that they would like to part with? Thoughts on taking it to the dealer?
