Cutting out (not the fuel pump relay) 200 1993

R reported the 93 wagon cut out on her and restarted immediately. For the first time (have changed 3 in past 3 years), replacing the fuel pump relay didn't solve it, as it just did it again. All fuses/connections look good (car has the battery post fuse box, not the more troublesome 25a fuse). I tried wiggling the crank position sensor while it was idling--no effect. I'm inclined to have the CPS replaced as a next step (no way am I chancing breaking that bellhousing bracket in the driveway to save $70).

What else is on the short list for cutting out & restarting without any other driving issue or CEL? Such a frustrating problem. I almost wish it wouldn't start!

I suppose there's always the specter of a faulty new fuel pump relay. But, the one just replaced had only been in service 6 months, so I suspect the problem is elsewhere this time.
