Hot start problem 700

I own a 1987 760 Turbo Wagon with 234K miles. For some time I have been experiencing a consistent hot start problem, and I haven't been able to determine the cause. The car is well maintained and has been tuned up recently. Under normal conditions the car runs perfectly and always starts right up. What happens is when I try to start the car after shutting it off after a good drive it wont start up again, it just cranks and cranks. If I wait say ten minutes, it starts right up and works fine. I thought this might be a fuel problem or check valve problem causing vapor lock, but I installed a fuel pressure gauge and that's not it. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thank you, Mark
