Hot start problem 700

THere are several things that can cause that, but I have a 87-740 non turbo, and it developed the same problem shortly after I got it(1998). After much angst the problem was remedied by replacing the injection temperature sensor. The one underneath the intake nearest the firewall. I cant guarantee thats whats wrong with yours, but your symptoms are identical.
You can test the sensors with a volt ohm meter. Look in the faq.

Hopefully others will respond with more info.
Good luck.

Larue
