High idle problems 140-160

Hi,

When the carbs got rebuilt a couple of weeks ago, they had the manifold to replace the linkages and so put all new soft mounts etc on then. When I ran it today in the shed, I tried spraying carb cleaner all over the place and that made no difference whatsoever, so that pretty much eliminates air or vacuum leaks.

I don't have carb steadies, but the manifolds are pretty short - they wouldn't be more than 70cm.

I'll try a different (yet again) dizzy and also put some heat shield above the exhaust. It's mystifying.

Regards
