B20B No Start ... 140-160 1971

After getting it to start with the old plugs and some starting fluid, I put new plugs in again, and I still have a no start condition. It will start if I use starting fluid, but it dies once that's burned off and won't start again. I know it's getting fuel and I've gone over the timing several times. The vacuum regulator is not connected to anything, and I have the air cleaner off so the hose from breather box is not connected either. I suspect the manifold/downpipe gasket is shot, so I'm wondering if there is a massive vacuum leak somewhere that is keeping it from starting/running. Any other ideas?
