George Downs, AKA Walrus has sadly lost his fight with his lung problems. The following post from the Yahoo 1800 list.
He will be missed. My condolences to all of his family and his friends everywhere.

My dad passed away this morning around 3:00 am. He was not in any pain and went peacefully. Plans will be made later on this morning and I will send those to you as they become available. He wanted to be cremated so there is no rush to have the funeral immediately.

If you would like to send my mom an email you can send it to sdowns@cableone.net .
