544 brake fluid reservoir leak 444-544

Good evening, I hope summer is going well for everyone. Just today I noticed that I have a small leak from the firewall mounted brake fluid reservoir (1965 544, b-18 all stock).

There is a plastic reservoir, a 2 inch piece of black rubber tubing, then the long steel pipe that connects to the master cylinder cap. The leak is where the firewall mounted plastic reservoir connects to the small black rubber tubing.

The reservoir, reservoir cap, and long steel tubing are original while the black tubing is newer (250 miles on it). The leak seems to have started after I adjusted my master cylinder pushrod.

I thought about adding some hose clamps to the black rubber tubing, but I'm not sure if this leak indicates bigger issues (venting of the reservoir cap maybe)?

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

Cheers,
Mike in Portland
