Aftermarket radio in the car?

FYI, ignition cut-out (if it is ignition and not the fuel pump relay) is rarely source in the relay tray. Depending on what fuel/ignition system you have it is likely one of the following:

Crank position sensor, ignition power stage or radio suppression relay (I think)

If it is a Rex/Regina car, disassemble the big sqaure coil and clean the connections from the power stage tot he coil.

Does the tach drop to 0 when you have the issue?
