I did my math- and think this works well;
Will post pictures once I run it for a while and can vouch for having a functional part:
weld a ~1" square section of tubular mild steel (hardware store) across the forward position of strut tower braces - at this point it clears the top of the engine - with my used (GT) tower plates and steel I'm in for less than $50 for something that is much more rigid than products offered at the high prices-
