I'm interested as well.....FWIW I turned the gears about 180 deg so that the meshing teeth were less sloppy....this has gained me many years of use but I only drive 8 months max a year, and I use wipers sparingly...not ideal. There were 2 different designs, one had cables and is really sloppy and you can't change the meshed teeth, the one without cables is superior.
