1992 245 Passenger Brake Light 200 1992

The passenger side brake light on my 1992 240 wagon now works sporadically. This morning it worked for about 10 minutes of my drive and then quit working. This has happened for the past couple of days. I noticed the bulb failure light in the dash come on when I pressed the brake pedal.

The bulb is good and I have twisted the bulb holder into a different position in the housing, with similar results.

The ground wire looked fine.

This is an aftermarket/replacement tail light lens so any suggestions for how to trouble shoot?

I'll look this evening and double check the ground. I guess there is a circuit board in there that could be messed up. Is it best to remove the tail light lense from the vehicle to trouble shoot?

Thanks,
