Letter-based Captchas 900

Dear Fellow Brickboarders,

Hope you're well. Recently, I find that when trying to post a comment, I'm asked to view a letter-based captcha and to interpret it. I always "sign-in", so do not understand why my posts are not acceptable.

I understand why captchas are used. But letter-based captchas are very hard to "interpret", because the letters often are very close to each other and/or distorted. As a result, an "r" next to an "n" looks like an "m", etc.

I respecfully suggest that number-based captchas be used and that letter-based captchas be discontinued.

I have no patience for things that "get in the way".
