AAA came out and tested. 5 1/2 year old Interstate MT-46 no longer holds a charge overnight. First time ever AAA did not have the appropriate battery in stock much less on the truck. Did get their equivalent price.
Found lots of possible 24 sized, as well as others that fit in the space, have the right orientation of terminals etc.
Nothing has the little lip on the lower body to fit the stock hold down- not even the local Interstate dealers.
O'Reilly matched the Walmart online price for a 24F with 700 CCA and a three year full replacement - $85, and they are just down the street while Walmart is one county south.
