Engine transplant question 140-160 1973

There is a guy here in the NW that did it, but it's major surgery. Apart from the obvious FI swap work, you have to decide whether you want to mount it straight up and down like the B20, or slanted like it is in 240's. Either choice means some custom engine mounts, and fitment issues with the cross member and oil pan, as well as interference with the wheel wheels, which are much different than on a 240. In addition, a custom bell housing will be required either way.

The guy here made that all work, but he had a welder, plasma cutter, and lot of metal fab experience.
