The plot thickens... 200 1992

I had thought of that horrifying possibility, but dismissed it because it is a '92. That doesn't mean that the wires could not be pinched or burned or that something else hasn't caused multiple shorts.

I bent the harness loom back and forth looking for any changes in the resistance readings, but found none.

In response to Trevor's question, I do not have the battery hooked up at the moment, but it might be a good test. Have to put the starter back on or tape up the wires to make sure they don't ground somewhere while I'm monkeying around, but yesterday when I had a 32 ohm reading between blue/yellow and ground, I am sure I would have found power.

BTW, my battery died a few weeks ago. I had left the car sitting for over a month, and the one year old battery was thoroughly drained. Checked current draw when I put it back in, and it was 50 milliamps. I am starting to wonder if this intermittent problem was not the cause of the dead battery.
