stalling, barely iddling, running lean 200 1992

i have seen your symptoms occur on 240's that have clogged fuel filters and or weak main fuel pumps.

the engine receives fuel but not at the needed consistent pressure required to accelerate and idle smoothly.

eventually it won't even start.

simply ensuring your main pump has 12 volts and you hear it run is insufficient to know it works well.

place a pressure gauge at the schrader valve on the rail and see what happens when you turn on the key. the pressure needs to ping hard fast to the 40psi level give or take. if it requires cranking a lot to slowly attain that pressure you have found your trouble. fuel starvation at the needed pressure.

form your description i think insufficient fuel pressure will prove to be your trouble.
