what about the purolator oil filter for the240 200

hi sages- does anybody have any experience with the purolator classic oil filter for the 240 volvo engine. i have a 92 245 with a 5 speed and a b230f engine. the car is in good condition and im trying to make it last. i know the mann oil filter is recommended here. i last changed the oil about 4k miles ago with quaker state 10-30 rated at api sn and put in a mann oil filter. its about time to change oil again. plan to use the quaker state again. this is a name brand oil with a good rating. sn is the highest rating a regular oil can get i believe. i have heard here that frams are not good filters for volvos. some here have said wix is better. the 240 calls for a purolator classic L14670. it claims a 98% filtration efficiency. it is made in the usa and the company is the oldest oil filter producer in the country. have never had any problem with their oil filter in other cars. bought one at wal mart for 3.27 which is 1/2 the cost of mann. 245 is used in suburban driving and doesnt use oil between changes. anybody here have any experience with this filter and oil. thanks tons oldduke
