Cooling fan remains on after shut off 900 1996

Both my bricks having strange issues lately. New issue with my '96 960. Had to replace intake manifold gasket and now a new problem. Car starts fine, but after shutting down the cooling fan remains on with the key removed. Have to disconnect negative terminal to shut fan off. Rinse & repeat every time. Installed a new fan relay and same problem. Can remove fuse #2 above battery to stop fan.

Wondering if ignition switch may be the problem. Being a '96 there is just one on the condenser instead of three. Have been through every connector touched while replacing intake gasket.
