Smaller brake pedal pad 200 1984

Hi folks,

Does anyone know about finding a replacement brake pedal that would be a little smaller than the factory one? I'm always having a hard time pulling my foot off the accelerator and onto the brake pedal as my shoe always seems to catch the back of the pedal, and have to constantly force myself to have my foot exactly in line with the accelerator (which is not how I learned to drive). It usually doesn't stay in line and ;y heel tends to slip back to the left. There is simply not enough space to be comfortable between the brake pedal and the plastic cover on the right.

I think a slightly narrower brake pedal would be the ticket. I am talking about the plastic/rubber pad of course.
