Is the M47 drain/fill plug seal the same size as the seal on the oil pan? 200 1991

To repeat some good advice frequently seen on here: remove the FILL plug first to be sure you can. It really sucks to drain the trans, then find the fill plug is frozen in place, and you have a dry trans.
