I do not recommend the OE Volvo exhaust anymore. Fit is not the best; so many people have complained (including myself) of fighting with the over-axle design in an attempt to quiet rattles from body contact.

The lifetime guarantee on the mufflers that once entitled you to a new cat-back kit when one of them rusted through, is now up in the air, with the burden of proof of that guarantee entirely on you. I believe it was a recent post by RicoS that explored that frustration.

Finally, the kit is more expensive than a Starla/Walker kit. RockAuto has had very good prices in the past on the Walker components, which are now identical with the Starla components, and very well made. I installed a front muffler/resonator on my father's 240 last week, Walker "Quiet-Flow" (they now have two muffler lines that fit the 240) and it was solidly made, stamped "USA" and "Canada."
