Drive Line Shudder 900 1994

Experiencing moderate drive shaft shudder from stop to about 35 MPH. Pulled drive shaft out today and inspected center carrier and bearing and U-Joints. All moving freely with no play. Slight amount of movement with center spline when both drive shafts were twisted in opposite directions. Applied grease to splines which took up play and cured vibration for a short while, but it has returned. What am I looking at? Drive shaft balancing, center support or U-Joints, all the above? Thanks.
