Front Door Speaker Replacement 900

The speaker in my front passenger door has gone kaput. I can still hear sound from it faintly and the passenger dash speaker still works so I think the amp is okay.

I am wondering if this is a reasonably simple procedure.

I was going to try to simply replace the old speaker with something similar that would fit the space (about a 5.5" - 6" round speaker).

Once i remove the old speaker (probably by drilling out the old mountings), will I be able to connect the new speaker by just re-attaching a few wires? No need to fiddle with the amp? Just wanted to confirm. thanks.
