no parking/headlights 900

I have a 1997 Volvo V90, about a week ago the headlights/parking lights stopped working, when I put the headlight switch to thge parking light posiiton, the parking lights came on and I had to hold the high beam switch back to have headlights, but only high beams. Now, when ever I put the parking lights on the fuse in the fuse panel blows and I have no parking lights or brake lights.

Any body had this happen before? Any ideas before I start the great electrical gremlin search?
