Rear tail light lens 140-160 1975

Both of the tail lights on my '75 164 have/had severely faded amber lenses for the turn signal. I say "had" because my 17 year old son backed into a parked truck and demolished the right side lens. Mine has volvo part number 1215708 for the right lens. It is held on by two bolts through the middle of the lens and has a metal strip across the center. Volvo has apparently discontinued the lens. I've seen a few in junk yards but all have the faded amber lens. Any ideas where to get a lens? Can the alternate 1975 tail light system (with different lenses held on by 4 screws in the corners) be installed on my car or are the body panels different?
