Hi!

Looks like son will be moving from VA to MN for a new job--and taking his high-mile 1991 240 out of my care. Given that he's not too mechanically inclined (yet), he'll be looking for a good independent shop. Not sure of location--the new job could go one of two ways, either near Woodbury/Maplewood east of StP, or in the Ridgedale area west of Mpls.

Right now the car is pretty good--recent tune-up, timing belt, radiator, etc. Blower motor is a little noisy--may try to fix before he heads up as that one is $.

Any recommendations/BTDT's--both for who to use AND who to avoid--would be a big help.

BTW, I already told him he will need to budget for a full set of GOOD snow tires for this winter . . . . Any recommendations on those would help too ;^)
