Vacuum line behind alternator 200 1984

Hi folks,

I've got a cut off line that seems to be coming from under the engine and behind the alternator. It's stuck in there. Any idea where that is supposed to go on that side? I haven't managed to follow where it actually comes from on the driver side of the engine, if it goes anywhere.

For info, years ago I had rerouted the vac line that goes from the top of the intake manifold (from a little nipple near the other nipple that goes down to the flame trap) to the ICU, to go around the engine bay instead.

I cannot remember if the bottom line that goes nowhere is a remnant of that, or if it's something else that should actually be connected...
