bleeding brakes 900 1995

History: after installing new calipers on a 1995 945 w/ ABS, I stupidly pressure bled the system dry (ran the motive bleeder w/ not enough fluid and ended up pushing air bubbles out of the front bleeder nipples.

I ran 0.5L of fluid through the system a few weeks ago (dead pedal) and had time today to run another 1.5L of fluid through the system (2 back then front bleed cycles @15psi, one caliper at a time, pumping the pedal a bit while each nipple was open). At present the car has a fairly soft pedal, but it is at least drivable (enough to bed in the new pads).

So, given the soft pedal I figure there's air somewhere in the system, and I'd rather not waste another 2L of fluid, given that it didn't really work today.

Is it worth loosening the fluid lines in/out of the ABS unit? Would it be worth doing the same at the master cylinder?
