740 wagon starting problems 700

I have a 92 740 non tubo.havea problem when the car reaches temperature. On a hot day ( lets say 80 to 90 degrees ), I cant start my car without a jump.I put a meter on the battery and when you try to start it,the level goes way down.So I thought it was the battery.Changed it and nothing, still the same. This also happens when I run the car for about one hour.Ill shut it off and then cant start it again without a jump.Any ideas? In winter months, have no problem even after running her all day. It starts right up. thanks
