Window tint keep or go clear?? 200 1991

It's raining here so I can't wok on my wagon and try all the good ideas ya'll gave me over the past few days.
Question here is about two years ago I had my wagon professionally tinted. My car is a silverish/ grey. I have received many different feedbacks over the years. Some love it with my Virgos and the tint, other like my wife think that the tint makes it look like a hearse. Anyway last week I found a OEM Volvo cargo cover in tan to match my interior.
I had the windows tinted to basically cover my cargo area from prying eyes. Now that I have this new cover I was thinking about having tint taking off. What do ya'll think? I hear some say it really keeps the car cooler, my A/C works great so not sure it that woudl be an issue. I just really hate hearing the wife when she has to drive it when I have the kids and take the odyssey( three kids under 5 needed the car seat room)
I like the classic look of clear ,but if it will really heat up car and be a huge difference.

Let me know what ya'll think.
Thanks
Benny
