odd starting problem 700

thanks for the info about the wiring diagram, and on how the darn thing works. but i may have made a mistake on my original theory. a friend pointed out to me that i had a lot of corrosion on my positive battery cable. that had been taken care of, and so far it fires up on the first crank. thats one thing i never did think to look at. i think im done with this particular problem. thanks all for putting up with me.
