Need reputable AND reasonable mechanic in Sacramento CA 700 1988

I do love my Volvo(s), past and present, but I currently own a 740 GLE Turbo SW, with all the bells and whistles, which I had always tried to avoid. I live on a fixed income, so I can;t afford the "haus" mechanics, and am willing to go to Volvo Auto Dismantlers for parts. My car's rear lights have always been problematic. but now I have a fix-it ticket for L brake light, which I just put a new bulb in. L rear door also will not open (from inside or out) and now the power (grrr) window is stuck in down position. Any help on either what to do myself or a good mechanic in the Sacramento CA area would be really appreciated!
