Cat converter gasket or no? 700

I recently bought a non running 1990 745 for $200. The PO didn't know what was wrong with it so was getting rid of it on the cheap. I installed a new Fuel pump (in the tank) and it runs like a dream...But, he had removed and sold the cat converter for some reason and now I have to get a new one on. My question is, Is there a gasket between the two flanges where the header flange and cat flange meet?

I ordered a new cat converter but I didn't see mention a gasket so now I wanna have my bases covered while I'm waiting on the cat to arrive.

Thanks..
