converting from the BW auto to a M40 in a 122

"and a flywheel probably 6 bolt" That's a great point and bears determining what motor is in the car---at this stage it could be anything. If it's a B18 it will have a six bolt crank -- but if it's a B20 it could be a Metric motor with an 8 bolt crank. Best to know for sure before buying a flywheel. You may need a brace -- unless you have an early B18 that only had a cover plate -- and it also depends on the transmission you buy--early ones use just the tin cover--later ones the brace. -- Dave
