Don't sweat that ground strap 200 1990

That ground strap at the firewall has nothing to do with spark or fuel. It's meant to help reduce radio noise emanating from injector wiring.

There are no fuel related relays that affect ignition/spark. The white relay that many call the "pump" relay is the "Fuel Injection" relay, and is actually 2 relays packaged together:

• The System relay powers Pump relay coil, AMM, IAC valve, and Injectors.
• The Pump relay powers pump(s) and O2 Sensor heater
