Multimeter vs 12V Test LIght 200 1990

"the 25A fuse tested good with my multimeter."
• Put the multimeter away and use a 12V test light like the one shown below. The suspect here is corrosion in the 25A fuse circuit. Corroded circuits may (and have been known to) pass the tiny amount of current needed to show "good" voltage — but with barely a trickle of the current (amperage) needed to power the intended circuits (both fuel and ignition).

"Honestly not sure of the procedure to test the socket for it."
• Very simple. Just connect the test light clip to any good metallic ground, and use the pointed probe to test the fuse holder with fuse in place. You should see an equally bright light on each side of the fuse holder — and also at both coil primary terminals when the key is ON (KPII).

Personally (with the fuel system reportedly working) I think the 25A fuse must be OK. But you can verify it with the Test Light, whereas a digital meter can fool you.
