heater seats 200 1989

Just had my 245 seats fronts seats reupholster. I noticed that when I rubbed my hand across my seat could feel the heater seat grid where my back rests. Did some research on line and noticed that there is some material that covers the grid so you don't feel the wires. I sure the upholster threw the material away and I am taking the car back next week and want the grids covered correctly. What can be used to cover the grid?
