replacing v90 engine mounts S90-V90

Hello all,

I need to (get to?) replace the engine mounts on my v90. All the research I've done suggests this is an easy, straightforward thing, that the mounts unbolted and pulled out to the front from underneath. Nothing to it.

Baloney:)

Passenger side is easy. Drivers side is not. There's more stuff in the way that I can shake a stick at. My best guess is that I need to remove the alternator and loosen the AC compressor to move it out of the way before there's any hope of removing that mount.

Is there a trick I'm missing?

Thanks

Scott
