Wheel bearing or driveshaft carrier bearing? Different characteristics? 200 1988

Hey guys!
I can't tell if it is a wheel bearing or carrier bearing. Do they have different noise characteristics? I got a coming and going high pitched noise that is hard to tell where it is coming from that started now after the car have been sitting for 6 months.
