Gotta have something to drive during my rust repair 200

I will be repairing rust holes on the floor pans on my 86 240dl and need plenty of time to make sure to get all the rust out and have a lasting repair, the only problem is that I need something to drive. I have a 92 integra that looks nice and has a good running engine, but I paid to have a clutch installed on it a few years ago. When I got the car back the clutch was super stiff. Eventually the clutch would not disengage and I adjusted the cable and it worked for a few months and then I had to adjust the cable again etc. After 20000 miles the clutch cable was completely adjusted to the max where it would not adjust anymore. Now the clutch will not disengage I installed a new clutch cable and nothing. The clutch petal stays at the floor. I seem to think that they guy charged me for a new clutch set and just installed a new disc and not a new pressure plate and release bearing, and either the bearing is frozen or the fingers were worn down on the pressure plate. The car drove perfect before I took it to him minus the clutch slipping. What do you guys think is wrong?
