Greendread said--"The top of the radiator is hot while the bottom hose is not" -- sounds like the radiator is doing what it is supposed to do. As Poor Guy pointed out--a loose belt can be responsible for multiple ills. If the generator does need work now would be the time to adapt a more efficient alternator--a simple job. If an electric fan is needed the generator probably would have a hard time keeping up. -- Dave
