Intermittent start 200

Finally back to working on my 86 GL. Always starts when cold, surges and may stall. Restarts fine, but when warmed up, it idles at about 2000 RPM. When it gets to that point, I shut it off and it will not restart. While running, I pulled the AMM (I THINK it was the AMM. Between air cleaner and accordion air tube to throttle body) and it would idle properly. Plug it back in, idles high. When car is off, I can hear the click on the TPS. Fuel pump relay looks new. Sometimes it will restart if I crack the throttle slightly and acts like it was flooded.
Help?
