Rear Wheel rub/squeek- 200 1983

I started experiencing a rear suspension squeak recently- pulled wheels and noticed evidence of inner sidewall rub in my fenderwell (running 205/65R15 on 760 MultiX wheels)- no rub on right side, and I've been running this combo for ~4k, I also noticed that the bottom of the shock is wandering on its mount- as ~1" either side of the mounting position is shiny- trailing arm bushing? I didn't find any play. Nor did I find any loose connections. Threw 195/65R14s on, and I'll drive it tomorrow to see what I find. I am running lowering springs w/o a panhard rod, but by quick measurement my axle appears to be centered-
