MAKING UP A REMOTE CONTROL STARTER WIRE 200

Bruce and Art, thanks very much. Last night, up much too late, I forgot to put that I have an '84. I had never used a remote starter switch on this car before, but after reading Bruce's post, I thought hey. I assume KP II on, one end of made up wire connected with insulated male spade connector to the terminal shown, and the other end with an alligator clip to the battery + terminal to "bump" the starter over?
